You can try to fit in as many as possible, but you do want to have time to rest and enjoy yourself, so you don't want to make it overwhelming by putting too much on your plate. A few of the most popular towns and cities are: Segovia, Avila, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia, Leon, and Merida.

Where to Stay

If you have never been to Spain, then you are also going to need to find proper accommodations, and this too should be one of the very first steps you take during the planning stage of your trip. There are tons of really great hotels and motels available that you can stay in, and you will only be able to determine a specific accommodation once you have decided on the areas that you are going to travel to.

Make sure that you browse around both with your travel agent and online yourself, so that you can check out the different deals that are being offered and end up finding the best possible value.

Going on a Tour

If you have never been to Spain before then one of the activities you are definitely going to want to participate in is a guided tour. By signing up to go on one of these tours you will be able to really experience the full effect of Spain, as an authentic and experienced guide will take you around and show you the sites and attractions of Spain, and this will allow you to grow more knowledgeable and comfortable with your surroundings.

There are many other activities that you want to include as well if you have never been to Spain, but again you do not want to take on too much, so plan out what you can for this trip and leave all the rest to get done on your next outing to Spain.
